Edgar Allan Poe spent some of his most important years in Maryland, and this room is our interpretation of what it might feel like inside his mind. A raven mural — a nod to his famous poem — watches over the desk nook. Black-and-white photographs line sage-green walls, and a reclaimed-wood ceiling glows with Edison bulbs.
It’s atmospheric without being dark: a cozy loveseat, a big tiled shower and a queen bed make it one of the most restful rooms at The Harbor.
It sits just outside downtown Prescott, so you get the quiet without giving up the convenience. Restaurants, shops and the St. Croix River are a few minutes away.
